Austin Parks FoundationConcept Plan Project
This park is undergoing an overall planning process with Austin Parks Foundation and the City of Austin Parks and Recreation Department. This process will result in an officially approved Concept Plan.
We are seeking community input to directly inform the design of this plan, and we want your ideas! Community Meeting #1 will be held virtually on Tuesday, March 7th from 6-7pm. During this meeting, APF and PARD will introduce the project, answer questions, and share information on the next steps. For more information on this project, how you can join Public Meeting #1, and to access the survey, please visit: https://www.austintexas.gov/GrandMeadowPark
(Above is the initial design that the Friends of Grand Meadow Park designed and submitted to the Austin Parks Foundation to apply for their design services.)
“Austin Parks Foundation, in coordination with the City of Austin Parks and Recreation Department, will conduct community engagement and develop a concept plan to guide the future development of Grand Meadow Neighborhood Park.”
APF has a website devoted to the Concept Plan they are working on. For more information and a projected timeline for this project —check out their website.
